Hey Lester, Welcome to The LumberWorksForums. Glad you chimed in. Hate to hear about your heart trouble. I've had some heart trouble as well. Now it's my liver. I will keep you in my prayers brother. I have been Blessed by the Best, Lester and pray the same for you. I know you'll be glad to get well enough to make some sawdust.

 Hey Sawwood, it looks like you got it going on. Great pix, Thanks. What do you mean, sawmill demo? Thats a great looking mill building, BIG,... I like BIG. Tell us more. How do you load and handle logs? Looks like you might be a wealth of great info! The Ol' WoodButcher kinda got an eye fer that kind of thing. I think I speak for the rest of us here as well. Teach me something Brother. No pun intended. 8)

WB we use a case track loader to unload logs off the trailer and on to the log deck. as you can see we made a poal stand with a swivle are to hold a trailer ball winch to load the logs off the deck onto the mill.
I will try to take some photos of the winch we have on the trailer to help load logs. The barn was used as
a hay barn but now its full of lumber air drying. we just about have the solar kiln ready for its first load.
with my heart sugary and Jr now going to have sugary things are on hold. The demo was for the local
wood working club. There is one outher mill in the area that is going to do a demo next month and i
will take some photos of it. Thanks all for the welcome.

Lester
