That is a good tip. Ive tried to saw a few 8" logs with 4" bows in them before. Not much luck in that.

:D Hello Albertcounty hillbilly, Welcome to the LumberWorksForums. Thats a Great looking rig you got there!! Show us more. Yes I have sawn many sticks that the Proud owner of, expected 500BF out of  It's always funny when they come around, they bring a bunch of pulp wood to me,... because they see them pulp wood trucks going down the road all the time. They think, "hey I got a bunch of them and I pass by this little sawmill everyday, I'm gonna take my logs to him and make tons of money". I like my internet customers, they have done their research and most have read my rates and have gone thru my whole web site and know a little about what to expect. It's the one's that just truely don't know and expect way,... more lumber than possible that, blow me away. They tool in here like, "hey buddy I got a deal you just can't beat". You pay me $$$, and I'll dump all the 6" and 8" x 20' pine on you, you can stand.  Anyhow, enough of my rambeling, again Phil, Welome to The LumberWorksForums.com. 8)
