Just wanted to give ya'll a glimpse of the wood being dried and stored under the pole barn here, the loft storage and below is 10' deep so anything hanging out beyound that are 12fters,,, building material on top,, from left to right, 4x4s, then 2 x6's and 8's etc, then a stack of 2x4's then a partial stack of 1 x stock, been using that for fenceing, then a stack of southern red oak, , then cherry.
Below on the left behind the mill are 2 stacks of oak, then you can see in the center the stack of pine beams a grownin, and on the extreme right just the tail end of 16'ters stacked up, all this will be cut into building material when needed.
The important thing on the pine was to get it cut up ASAP so as to avoid bugs as pine is yummy. the hardwoods can go a bit longer and sometimes quite a bit longer then the pine before milling.
Oh yea, in the lower forground there next to that beam, you'll see a broken band.br
