I haven't watched the show but the previews look promising.

:D That was a good show Tree. They showed it like it is. No part of this is EZ, but it is good to my heart. Puts us in Gods country as well. I've done a little logging with horses, when I as young. Thats rough stuff. 8)

Too dangerous. Those mules were not safe. They wanted to take off before everything was safely set every time. Recipe for injuries. WB - do you remember having that problem with the horses?

They were bringing in some very nice trees.

That log loader looked like a copy of the one from Dirty Jobs. Sure looked hard on the frame when they dropped each log for the bottom layer from ~3-4' right onto the bare frame. Wonder why they didn't invest in a winch instead of using the horses to parbuckle the butt logs?

There's going to be several repeats of this episode. Google "Mule Extreme Logging" to find the times and dates.

A friend logged with horse and the always looked like they were sleeping.

They were not high strung just easy going.

Went to a horse pull and my friend was there by himself. almost everyone had two or three guys help to hook but he did it all himself.

Thanks Alot Mr Mom
