H&W Custom Cut Lumber and mobile sawmill. Located at 10800 Waxhaw Hwy. Waxhaw NC 28173. I can handle logs up to 31" D X 22' L. Trailer Decking, Fence, Post and Beams, sideboards for dumptrucks, Mantels, siding etc.

I specialize in rustic slabwood for Bartops, tables and benches.

Milling rates are as follows:

Standard in-house Rates are $45.00 per hour with a 2 hour min.

Mobile jobs are $55.00 an hour and there is a 4 hour min.

Customer MUST PAY the min. when I get there & the rest before I leave & the job is done NO EXCEPTIONS.

Jobs of more than 500 BF do require a deposit.

There is a $25.00 fee for blades damaged, due to foreign objects in your logs.( Rocks, Nails, Horseshoes, bicycles etc.)
If extensions are needed, for logs longer than 12' feet there is an extra $.75 added to the hourly rate.

Customer Responsibilities:

Removing mud, dirt, rocks, & debris from logs.

Moving logs to one central location.

Placing the logs on timbers to get them off the ground.

Positioning logs parallel to each other.

Cutting the logs to the desired length.

Logs MUST be at least 5 feet long.

Making a level area for the saw.

If I have to do these things the time will be added at the regular hourly rate.

This was my first commerical job. I cut all the trim for this covered bridge. Most of it was 18" wide.

Hi All, This is the newest addition at H&W. This machine really makes life EZ'r. Loading & Unloading is a snap when you bring your logs to us. :wink:

This boom comes in real handy for reaching over the log pile to get to logs that would other wise take awhile to get to.
