Robin and I built this new shed for storage as well as the Laundry area.
We built it a few years ago as we needed to replace a lil log cabin shed that I had built some twenty years earlier.
But all that said much of the lumber was green like the studs, front wall is 10' and rear wall is 8'
the studs were toe-nailed because that technique will hold better then thru nailing, especially twisting, however on thru nailing usally onlt 2 nails are used,, 4 on toe nailing, but nuthing a nail gun cant handle.
The siding was cut at 3/4" thick and 7"wide and nailed at the top only, then 10 -14 days later the siding was secured as needed along the bottom of the boards if necessary

Oh and the pourch is 6' deep and 16'long and is also untreatedyellow pine.
But the building support piers are PT4x4's

Thats a fine looking building. My wife would like a garden shed and we plan on it being about the same only a little smaller. I'm also considering timber framing it, just for the fun of it.
